Nolan Schoenle ’19 is a Computer Science and Theatre and Dance major from St. Louis, MO. He has worked as a sound and lighting designer for many productions including Translations, The Royale, Image of an Unknown Young Woman, two choreography showcases, and an adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s The Courter. This was his first time doing scenic and projections design. Thanks to Justin Thomas and the rest of the team.

Anjali Jain ’21 is a Theatre and Dance major from Saratoga, California. She has participated in a few Grinnell department productions, her latest being Final Interplanetary Showcase: For Our Sun, Celeste Miller (Lighting Designer), Salt Marsh Suite (Dancer), Acorn (Stage Manager), DIS/Unity (Stage Manager). Her work ranges from stage-managing, to dancing, to building, to running sound, to designing lights. This is her first time working in both scenic and projections design. She is grateful to Justin Thomas for inviting her onto the project, and her co-assistant designers Ahon and Nolan for being such wonderful teammates.

Ahon Gooptu ’21 is a Theatre and Dance and English major and Technology Studies concentrator from Kolkata, India. He has been involved with several productions in different capacities during his time at Grinnell College. He has stage-managed soft lights for sleepless nights, an originally devised performance art piece and directed Nina Shengold’s Finger Food and an adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s The Courter. Acting credits include Spring Awakening (Hanschen), The Universal Language (Don), and Image of an Unknown Young Woman (Ali). This was his first time working with scenic and projections design and he is grateful to Justin Thomas, Nolan Schoenle, and Anjali Jain for their unwavering support and guidance throughout this entire process.
